1. Who we are

Whizz Scribe is operated by Whizz Tech, Office 218, Binghatti Azure, JVC, Dubai, UAE. For the purposes of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Whizz Tech is the data controller for account data and the data processor for content you submit through the service. 2. What we collect

  • Account data — email address (used for one-time-passcode sign-in), organization name, and plan details.
  • Content data — topics and instructions you submit, knowledge-base sources you connect (websites, URLs, pasted text, writing samples), and the articles the engine generates for you.
  • Integration credentials — tokens for WordPress, Sanity, or Contentful, stored encrypted and used only to publish on your instruction.
  • Usage data — API request logs, credit ledger entries, job telemetry, and standard server logs (IP address, user agent) kept for security and billing.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. Cookies are limited to what sign-in requires.

3. How we use it

  • To operate the service: generate articles, index knowledge bases, publish to your CMS, deliver webhooks.
  • To bill accurately: credits, refunds, and usage records.
  • To secure the platform: abuse prevention, rate limiting, audit logs.
  • To communicate: sign-in codes, service notices, and replies to support requests.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your knowledge-base content or generated articles to train models — content is sent to our model provider solely to produce your output.

4. Subprocessors

We share data with three categories of subprocessor, each under a data-processing agreement:

  • OpenAI(United States) — model inference for research, writing, editing, and scoring. API-submitted content is not used for model training per OpenAI's API terms.
  • Google Cloud Platform (EU/US regions) — hosting, storage, and task queues.
  • Resend (United States) — transactional email, such as sign-in codes.

We will update this list before adding a subprocessor that handles personal data. International transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required.

5. Retention

Account and content data persist while your organization is active. If you delete a knowledge-base source, its indexed chunks are removed. If you close your account, we delete personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (kept no longer than required). Server logs rotate within 90 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the processing of, or delete your personal data. Email support@whizztech.ai from your account address and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have not resolved a concern, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

API keys are stored hashed; integration credentials are encrypted at rest; webhook deliveries are signed (Standard Webhooks) so you can verify origin; access to production systems is restricted and logged.

8. Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes are announced by email to organization owners before they take effect.
